Every May, pubs, clubs, and communities across Australia come together for one powerful purpose, to help end youth violence.
#schnitty4sam is a national fundraising campaign led by the Sammy D Foundation, where participating venues donate from every schnitzel sold to support life-changing education programs for young people.
It’s simple, it’s powerful, and it’s making a real impact.
What is #schnitty4sam?
#schnitty4sam is a community-driven fundraiser that brings people together over one of Australia’s favourite pub meals, the schnitzel.
Throughout May, venues donate a portion of every schnitty sold toward ending youth violence, Drakes Supermarkets joins the campaign by donating $1 from every specially marked schnitty pack, and individual supporters can grab a virtual schnitty, with each one helping fund education that keeps a young person safe.
However they do it, every contribution helps fund education that equips young people with the skills to make safer choices and look out for each other.
The campaign honours the life of Sam Davis, who tragically lost his life at just 17 due to a one-punch assault.
Why it matters
Violence doesn’t start with a single moment. It builds through behaviours, choices, and missed opportunities to step in.

The Sammy D Foundation delivers evidence-based programs in schools and sporting clubs, helping young people:
