Sam Davis died after a one-punch assault on Sunday, 4 May 2008.
Sam was loyal, funny and always on the go. He walked early, rode a bike without trainer wheels before he was two, and loved his sport, footy most of all. He made friends easily and kept them.
He was 17, with his whole life ahead of him. In one moment, his family lost a son, his friends lost a mate, and a whole community lost someone special.
He had a big personality and a zest for life, and he packed so much into his short time. Forever the entertainer, Sam lived life to the fullest, as if he knew it might be cut short.
