Community spirit sizzles at Bunnings Edwardstown BBQ

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers who came together to make our recent Bunnings Edwardstown BBQ a sizzling success and to everyone who came down for a snag! With 11 volunteers helping throughout the day, we not only cooked up a storm but also raised $3,085 to support the Sammy D Foundation’s programs.

We’d also like to extend our gratitude to Bunnings Edwardstown for hosting the event and to Windsor Meats, who donated the sausages for the day and have been long-term supporters of the Sammy D Foundation. Your ongoing generosity makes a real difference.

Community fundraising like this shows the power of coming together. Every sausage sizzle, every donation, and every hour volunteered helps us educate young people about the impacts of violence and empower them to make safer, smarter choices.
