Building positive sporting club cultures

We are proud to announce the launch of our new Game Changers program which is already making an impact across sporting clubs. Designed for players, coaches, parents, officials, and volunteers and developed in partnership with Flinders University, Game Changers is the next evolution of our previous Monkey See, Monkey Do program, taking community sport education to the next level.

Game Changers helps sporting clubs create environments where respect, fun, and personal growth come first. By bringing everyone together, the program transforms sideline behaviour, boosts enjoyment for young players, empowers supportive adults, and builds a positive club culture that keeps young players and their families coming back.

Sporting clubs are a powerful setting for education programs. The program recognises that children learn by observing the adults around them, and that positive, consistent messages from coaches, parents and officials have a lasting impact. By aligning everyone at the club with the same values, Game Changers ensures young people experience consistent support and guidance both on and off the field.

Clubs participating in Game Changers see real change – from calmer, more respectful sidelines to increased participation and engagement among players and families. Adults also feel more confident in their roles, whether it’s encouraging teammates, managing tricky situations, or modelling respectful behaviour. This holistic approach helps create a club environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and part of a thriving community.
