Sammy D Foundation reaches 300,000 educated!

We’re thrilled to announce that in August 2025, the Sammy D Foundation reached an incredible milestone – over 300,000 participants educated through our programs!

Since the Sammy D Foundation was formed, we’ve been committed to empowering young Australians with the knowledge and skills to prevent violence, manage conflict safely, and make positive choices. Every student reached represents a life touched, a mindset shifted, and a community strengthened.

Our programs are all about giving young people the tools to stay safe, build respectful relationships, and make smarter decisions,” said Jannine Jackson, CEO of the Sammy D Foundation. “Reaching 300,000 students is a huge achievement, but it’s also a reminder of the work that still lies ahead. Every young person we educate is one step closer to a safer, kinder Australia.

From schools to sporting clubs and community groups, the Foundation’s evidence-based programs have helped countless young people recognise early warning signs of violence, de-escalate conflict, and act with confidence in difficult situations.

This milestone would not have been possible without the support of our community, volunteers, and partners, whose generosity ensures these programs continue to reach kids across the country.

As we celebrate this achievement, we’re inspired to keep going,” Ms Jackson added. “Every student we educate has the potential to become a positive influence in their community. Together, we are creating safer spaces and brighter futures for young Australians.
